We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at meishai@meishai.dk. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: Fruedalsvej 6, 4285 Tureby 

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Right of withdrawal

As a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal when shopping with us at meishai.dk. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party indicated by you, take physical possession of the goods.

If you have ordered several different goods in one order but they are delivered separately, the period runs from the day you receive the last item. If you have ordered goods delivered in multiple parts or installments, the period runs from the day you receive the last part or installment.

How to exercise your right of withdrawal

Before the withdrawal period expires, you must inform us that you wish to withdraw from your purchase. Notice must be given as a clear statement, for example:

- by email to meishai@meishai.dk

You cannot withdraw simply by refusing to accept delivery, without also giving us clear notice to that effect.

Please note: If you complete and submit the withdrawal form electronically through our website, we will immediately send you an acknowledgement of receipt of your withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. email).

Returning the goods

Once you have notified us that you wish to withdraw from your purchase, you must send the goods back to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the date on which you informed us of your withdrawal. The deadline is met if you send the goods back before the 14 days have expired.

Send the goods to: Meishai ApS, Fruedalsvej 7, 4682 Tureby, Denmark.

You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

Condition of the goods: You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods. This means you may inspect the item as you would in a physical store, but you may not use it.

Exceptions for hygiene reasons

The right of withdrawal applies to all our products (Shampoo, Conditioner, Treatment, Shower gel, Heat Protection, Serum, and our product bundles). For hygiene and health reasons, however, the right of withdrawal does not apply to an individual product once its original seal has been broken or removed, including:

This exception applies only to the specific product whose seal has been broken — not to your entire order or to the product category as such. If you receive an unopened, sealed item, you have the full right of withdrawal described above, whether it is a single item or part of a bundle (e.g. The Meishai Shower Pack or The Meishai Experience). We therefore recommend not breaking the seal or using the product until you are sure you wish to keep it.

Refunds

If you withdraw from your purchase, you will receive a refund of all payments made to us, including delivery costs for the original delivery. We will reimburse you no later than 14 days from the date we receive notice of your decision to withdraw.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or until you have supplied evidence of having sent the goods back, whichever is earlier.

We will use the same means of payment as you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. You will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

If you chose a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us, we will not reimburse the additional delivery costs.

The right of withdrawal described above does not affect your other statutory rights, including remedies for defects under Danish sale of goods law.
