We carefully consider what's truly essential: in our fragrance-free, allergy-friendly formulas, and in how we package and ship them. Fewer resources, fewer unnecessary steps, less impact - on your body, and on the environment.

"Have little - but the good stuff."

That's exactly how Meishai was made. Our bottles come in double sizes - 500ml - because haircare is something you use every day, and one larger bottle means less plastic overall than several small ones. When plastic isn't necessary, we choose glass instead.

We skip outer packaging and small samples, too. Both create waste we don't need and we trust our formulas to speak for themselves - and our customers to choose with intention, not excess.

All packaging and shipping materials are 100% recyclable, made from 70% recycled paper.

    Recycle guide

    We have created a guide on how to recycle properly. We use half-liter bottles to reduce our plastic consumption and Meishai Shampoo, Conditioner and Shower gel comes with a pump to help avoid waste of the product.

    1. Clean the packaging thoroughly.

    Whether it’s plastic bottles, jars, or glass, it’s important that the packaging is completely empty and clean.

    Add a bit of water, shake or rinse, and use the last bit of product – this helps make the materials easier to recycle.

    2. Separate the components.

    Our plastic bottles and jar come with pumps or lids that should be removed before recycling, as the parts are often made from different materials.

    Glass packaging should be sorted without lids or plastic elements.

    3. Sort correctly.

    – Plastic bottles and jars: in the plastic container

    – Pumps and lids: check your local guidelines – typically hard plastic

    – Glass: in the glass container
