Treat your hair like your skin.

Because of my allergies, I've always had to think carefully about what I put on my body from a very young age. I read the labels, I choose gentle formulas, and I avoid anything that could irritate.
Your scalp is skin too. It's the same skin as your face, with the same barrier and the same sensitivity. Your hair grows out of it and carries whatever you put there for days at a time.
So I began to ask myself a simple question: Why are we so much ahead in skincare and makeup and think so much about what we use on our face - but when it comes to haircare we don't think nearly as much about it?
I took that question into the way I created Meishai.
I wanted to build haircare the way I'd choose skincare: mild, but effective. Every ingredient has to earn its place, and nothing is there for show. Our products are fragrance-free, vegan, and free of allergenic and hormone-disrupting ingredients. They are certified by Asthma Allergy Nordic and rated A-Kolben by Kemiluppen.
But without compromise. Mild doesn't mean weak.
A healthy scalp grows stronger, calmer hair, and good haircare works with the skin rather than against it. It takes patience, and the results come slowly. But they last.
You don't need an allergy to care about this. I'd encourage everyone to look after what they put on themselves, from head to toe. Read the label. Choose less. Your skin, and your hair, will notice.
